Shateria Beauty LLC, started July 31, 2021, after married pop duo, RubyGld Smoke (Terrance & Dandria Williams), decided to go on their natural hair journey. However, they found that local beauty supply stores in the Chicago-land area did not carry vast selection of natural hair care products for black people. The products would be sold out due to high demand and low supply.During this time, Dandria returned to school to finish her BBA degree in Entrepreneurship, where Terrance helped her with a school business project. Together RubyGld came up with the solution to their hair care supply issue, Shateria Beauty and launched the business website February 22, 2022. In the first 3 months they fulfilled over 100 orders across the nation, partnered with Amazon Black Business Accelerator Program, and featured on ESSENCE festival's virtual marketplace.
Our mission is to support and supply our community with products catered to all natural hair textures. We aim to educate and empower people to wear their natural crowns. We support women of color in their natural hair care journey with resources, products and unique services that empower them to wear their hair proudly.
